Magnificent Art Deco CARTIER letter opener with clock

The case silver and 750/000 yellow gold (Paris guarantee hallmarks), oblong, slightly curved shape, fluted decorative elements made of lapis lazuli in a yellow gold frame, cut out at the lower end with decorative engraving and a small round sapphire cabochon, fluted winding crown in yellow gold. Under glass dial with oversized Roman numerals (partially cut) and internal minute track ring, marked CARTIER Made in France. The cutting edge made of nephrite. Incised no 1795 and 1061, master's mark . MC. Movement EWC &Co France 1007. Total approx 310,8g. Good condition, shaft slightly loose, case with some major scratches. Movement starts running, no garantee.

Das Gehäuse Silber und 750/000 Gelbgold (Pariser Garantie-Punzen), längsrechteckige leicht geschwungene Form, in Gelbgold-Rahmung kannelierte Zierelemente aus Lapislazuli, am unteren Ende passig ausgeschnitten mit Ziergravur und einem kleinen runden Saphir-Cabochon, geriffelte Aufzugkrone in Gelbgold. Unter Glas Zifferblatt mit übergroßen römischen Ziffern (tlw. im Anschnitt) und innenliegendem Minuterie-Kranz, Goldzeiger, bezeichnet CARTIER Made in France. Die Schneide aus Nephrit. Ritzmarke 1795 und 1061, Meistermarke in MC Raute. Werk EWC & Co France 1007. Ca. 310,8g. Guter Zustand, Schaft leicht gelockert, Gehäuse tlw. mit größeren Kratzern. Uhr läuft an, keine Garantie.
