The painting with Buddha Shakyamuni in the centre seated in vajrasana on a lotus base placed on a throne set to its front with offerings, his right hand resting on his lap supporting the cakra while the left is holding a lotus flower, wearing monastic garment, his face displaying a serene expression, double flaming halo behind, surrounded by various scenes from his life partly placed in a pavilion and others within a mountainous landscape, the reverse with the mantra ‘aum ah hum’ in Lantsha script, in velvet mounting.

Das Gemälde zeigt Buddha Shakyamuni in der Mitte, in Vajrasana auf einem Lotussockel sitzend, der auf einem Thron steht, der mit Opfergaben geschmückt ist. Seine rechte Hand ruht auf seinem Schoß und stützt das Cakra, während die linke eine Lotosblume hält, er trägt ein Mönchsgewand, sein Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck, dahinter ein doppelt geflammter Heiligenschein, umgeben von verschiedenen Szenen aus seinem Leben, die teils in einem Pavillon und teils in einer Berglandschaft platziert sind, die Rückseite mit dem Mantra „aum ah hum“ in Lantsha-Schrift, in Samtmontierung.
