The Anbaxian or 'The Concealed Eight Immortals' are iconic symbols that identifies each of the eight Daoist immortals. These include: the double-gourd, a token of Li Tieguai; the fan (Han Zhongli); the fish-drum (Zhang Guolao); a flute (Han Xiangzi); a pair of castanets of positive and negative forces (Cao Guojiu); a basket of flowers (Lan Caihe); a ladle and a long-stalked lotus blossom (He Xiangu) and a double-edged sword (Lü Dongbin). For a pair of Yongzheng doucai bowls with this design see Christie’s Hongkong, 29.5.2013, lot 2272. A pair of Yongzheng bowls of this design from the T.Y. Chao Collection was included in the exhibition, Ch'ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Art Gallery of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, no. 89. Other single examples include the bowl illustrated in The Tsui Museum of Art - Chinese Ceramics IV, Qing Ceramics, Hong Kong, 1995, pl. 139; and a bowl sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 31 October 2004, lot 108 - Good condition

Die Anbaxian oder "Die verborgenen acht Unsterblichen" sind ikonische Symbole, die jeden der acht daoistischen Unsterblichen kennzeichnen. Dazu gehören: der Doppelkürbis, ein Zeichen von Li Tieguai; der Fächer (Han Zhongli); die Fischtrommel (Zhang Guolao); eine Flöte (Han Xiangzi); ein Paar Kastagnetten für positive und negative Kräfte (Cao Guojiu); ein Blumenkorb (Lan Caihe); eine Schöpfkelle und eine langstielige Lotosblüte (He Xiangu) und ein zweischneidiges Schwert (Lü Dongbin). Für ein Paar Yongzheng-Doucai-Schalen mit diesem Muster siehe Christie's Hongkong, 29.5.2013, Los 2272. Ein Paar Yongzheng-Schalen mit diesem Design aus der Sammlung T.Y. Chao war in der Ausstellung Ch'ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Art Gallery of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, Nr. 89 zu sehen.
